Goechela Trek

You will meet and greet our representative who will reach out to you in
the Bagdodara airport/NJP.
You will begin with the enthrallment of this wonderful trek by catching
the beautiful and remarkable views of the Himalayas while driving on
the way from Bagdodra airport/NGP to Yuksom.
En-route you will be taken along the gushing Teesta River and continuing
uphill, you will be crossing a bridge in Legship to reach Yoksom.
On the way you will stop for lunch in some roadside Dhaba and reach
Yuksom by afternoon.
Arrive at Yuksom and check in at hotel.
The remaining day will be for your leisure and relaxation. And make
yourself ready for the next day adventurous trek.

In the morning after breakfast, you shall start your adventurous
Goechala pass trek by ascending uphill and follow the gorges of the
Rathong river.
Trek through the lush thickets of magnolia, rhododendron, and ferns
proceed towards the Paha Khola bridge.
Your lunch would be arranged during the trek to keep you energized for
rest of the trek.
On the way during trek be prepared to spot exotic orchids, colorful
flowers, and monkeys along the hike!
After reaching Sachen, you will be provided with standard tents and our
guide will help you in pitching the tent.
A bonfire will be arranged for your entertainment, share stories and
have you dinner under the stars.

After a light breakfast, you will leave for trekking for the day which will
take you through the aromatic Viburnum plantations, after which you
will be crossing the Prek Chu river and hike uphill for around 2-3 hrs to
reach Bakhim.
Hereafter, trekking upward, you will finally reach Tshoka, the Tibetian
refugee settlement.
You will be provided with delicious lunch in the campsite.
You can take a nap and relax under the blue sky.
In the late evening a bonfire and some relaxed music will be arranged
for you and dinner will be provided in the camp itself.

After having light and tasty breakfast, you will be making your way uphill and through scenic forests of rhododendrons; you can expect well-laid trails on the way.
On the way you will be provided with packaged lunch. Eat while enjoying the beautiful view ahead.
Moving from here, a short trek will finally take you to Dzongri.
In the late evening after reaching Dzongri you will be provided with your dinner, have your dinner and go to your bed directly because of the long and difficult trek of the day.

After your breakfast in the Phedang campsite, you need to get prepared
for another scenic uphill trek, and with Goechala pass trek, you will be
crossing 4,000m in the Himalayas!
With this remarkable feat, you will enjoy your packed lunch and relax
around the beautiful scenic vistas to get acclimatized to the higher
altitude.
A further climb after relaxation will finally take you to the Thansing
campsite area, from where you can mesmerize views of the koktang,
Rathong kabru, Khangchendzonga, Simvo, and Pandim peaks.
Our guide will set everything for your camp and provide you delicious dinner.
A bonfire and forum will be arranged for you to spend some time near
the scenic view of beautiful mountains and river.

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast spend the day relaxing. If you
wish you can go for exploring the place and try some local cuisine or
exploration quest around the camp.
The day is much required as you must get acclimatized to the higher altitudes
before gaining further height.
If you want, our guide can arrange you a bonfire and can enjoy some
roasted food for dinner.

You have to wake up early in order to avoid the harsh climatic conditions
that might hinder your course in the latter part of the day.
Climbing uphill through the moraines, you will then be descending to
Samiti lake and then cross the Zemathang plateau.
You will be provided with the packaged breakfast while climbing uphill.
From here, you will once again start ascending over a moraine and after
trekking for around 1 hr, will reach to the Goechala pass view point 1.
You will be provided delicious lunch packages in the Goechala pass view point 1.
Then, you will arrive at the magnificent pass. Behold the magical view of Kanchenjunga
and other distant peaks before you start moving back towards Kokchurang campsite.
Our guide will arrange your tent and will provide you dinner. Eat your
dinner and go for a nap and prepare yourself for the next day trek.

Wake up early and have your light breakfast to remain energetic while you trek.
Enjoy the morning enchanting beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga peak
from a nearby ridge and start trekking back towards Tshoka.
Today, you will be taking a route through the Dzongri plateau in order to
avoid the long climb. The trail passes through Prek Chu and the
deciduous forests of Phedang. You will be provided with the lunch in
between the trek.
By late evening you will arrive in Tshoka, you will settle down there and
our guide will help you pitching the tent you can relax. Have your dinner
in your tent.

After an early breakfast, get ready for your last day of trek
Today descending through the Prek Chu river, you will be arriving in
Yuksom, the last leg of this Goechala trek package.
Arriving in the vicinity, you will check into the hotel and spend the rest
of the day at leisure.
You can go out for a lunch by your own and enjoy a village walk and
interact with the local people.
Today bonfire will be arranged outside the hotel and a delicious dinner
will be prepared for you as this will be your last day of trekking.
