Dong Valley
Dong is a small village located in Dong Valley of Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is the easternmost village in the India, near the point where India, China and Myanmar meet as it is the location of a peak where tourists climb up to at 3 am to see the sun rise, and it is also one of the easternmost places accessible by car. In 1999, it was found that Dong experience the first sunrise in India. That is why it is known as "India’s Land of Rising Sun".
This one – week tour will take you to the land of rising sun, the first village of India-Kaho, the largest upcoming Buddha statue in India and much more.
Upon arrival at Dibrugarh, you will be met by our representative and then you will be starting your beautiful journey. It will be a 5 hours’ journey(approx.). In between, you will be taking a halt at Dhola- Sadiya Bridge also known as Bhupen Hazarika Setu. It is the longest bridge in India with a length of 9.15kms. After spending some quality time there, you will restart your journey and reach Parsuram Kund by evening.

Post breakfast, today you will head towards Walong. Driving along the Lohit river, it gives a splendid view of the valley. You will be taking a halt at Hawa Camp to feel the beauty of mighty Lohit River. After a tiring ride on muddy roads, you will reach Walong by late afternoon. The remaining day will be at leisure. Sleep early as you will wake up for the trek at 1 am.

Wake up at 1am for the trek as you are here to see the first sunrise of India. After a short drive, you will start your trekking. The distance of the trek is 8 kms. After reaching the valley, wait for the sunrise. Enjoy the once in a lifetime experience as you are watching the first sunrise of India. Post sunrise, spend some quality time at the valley. After that, you will return back to your homestay. Explore the wonderful Walong village at the evening.

On this day after breakfast, you will be enrouted for your journey to the first village of India i.e. Kaho located at the Indo-China border. Taken a halt at Kibithu and then visit the hanging bridge spanning above Lohit river. Post lunch, you will return back to your homestay at Walong.

You will start your return journey with new experiences and carrying lots of memories. After reaching Namsai, you will be taken to the Golden Peace Pagoda to see the world’s largest bamboo Buddha statue.

Wake up at 4am to see the ritual of Theravada Buddhism and how monks go out of the monastery begging by following the old Buddhist tradition. Spending some quality time there, you will restart your return journey towards Dibrugarh. After reaching Dibrugarh, you will explore the town and the local market. Dibrugarh is also known as ‘Tea city of India’.

- After making your first payment, you will get an email confirmation.
- Once you make the 100% payment for your booking, you'll get the booking voucher containing all the information about your trip.
Refund Policy
The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Payment Terms Policy
100% of total tour cost will have to be paid 10 days before the date of travel.
