Aoleang Festival

Day 1 - Arrive at Jorhat - Mon ( 152kms - 5 hours)

Arrive at Jorhat Airport, We drive towards the Mon Village of Nagaland. In Nagaland, they inhabit the Mon District—also known as 'The Land of The Anghs'. The Anghs/Wangs are their traditional chiefs whom they hold in high esteem. Overnight at Homestay.

Day 2 - Day 1 of Aoling Festival

Post breakfast, witness the first day fo vibrant and culturally rich Aoling Festival and see the ethnic cultural beauty of Konyak Tribe. Have Naga Traditional Food and experience the song and dances of Festival. Overnight at Homestay.

Day 3 - Visit Shangnyu and Chui Village

Post breakfast, we will explore the famous heritage villages of Konyak Tribe and meet the last living headhunters. Firstly we will go towards Shangnyu Village which is ruled by the chief Angh, Shangnyu village is one of the prominent villages in Mon district. There is a wooden monument measuring 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth – believed to be constructed by heavenly angels. Head over to Chui Village, which is ruled by the Angh of Chui Basti. The Angh's house is the biggest in the village and has a display of skulls of enemies supposedly killed by him and his ancestors. Overnight at Homestay.

Day 4 - Explore Longwa Village

Post breakfast, Longwa is one of the biggest villages in Mon district and sits on the India-Myanmar international border. The Lungwa Angh's house is situated in the middle of the border of India and Myanmar. One half of the Angh's house falls within Indian territory, whereas the other half lies under Myanmar control. However, the whole village is controlled by the Angh. Spend the evening at the festival arena. Overnight at Homestay.

Day 5 - Day 4 of Aoling Festival

Post breakfast, Visit the fourth day of Aoling Festival and explore all the rich cultural heritage of Konyak Tribe and their beauty. Celebrate Aoling Festival with all the Konyak People. Overnight at Homestay.

Due to operational reasons, the routing of this tour may be amended. However, all the mentioned services will remain unchanged.

Finderbridge reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, pandemic lockdowns, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

The package of the tour may vary on the number of people that will be coming in the tour.

Confirmation Policy

  • Payment can be done in parts.
  • After making your first payment, you will get an email confirmation.
  • Once you make the 100% payment for your booking, you'll get the booking voucher containing all the information about your trip.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Payment Terms Policy

100% of total tour cost will have to be paid 10 days before the date of travel.
