• The Shirui Lily trek is a moderate-level day trek that takes you through diverse terrains. The initial part involves a steep climb through a forest path, followed by a series of well-maintained steps. As you ascend, the landscape unfolds, revealing rolling meadows and breathtaking vistas. Upon reaching the peak (Shirui Kashong), you'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

• Day 1 Begin your journey by arriving in Ukhrul, Manipur, and checking into your accommodation. Spend the late morning exploring the local market, soaking in the vibrant culture, and purchasing any necessary supplies for your trek. In the afternoon, head to the Shirui Hills, where the rare Shirui Lily blooms. Start your trek through the scenic landscape, enjoying breathtaking views and lush greenery. As evening approaches, set up camp for a relaxing evening around a campfire, or take some time to explore the local area.
• Day 2 Start your trek early to reach the higher altitudes of the Shirui Hills, where you can witness the Shirui Lily in full bloom. Take your time admiring the panoramic views and unique flora that this region offers. After a morning of exploration, descend and a picnic lunch amidst the serene surroundings. Return to Ukhrul in the afternoon, taking the opportunity to visit any additional local attractions or cultural sites. Conclude your trip by departing from Ukhrul in the evening, or stay overnight, depending on your travel plans, enriched by the natural beauty and cultural immersion of your trek.

• The Shirui Lily trek is an approximately 4-5 km hike (round trip). The first part of the trek is the most challenging, with a steep climb. However, the well-defined path and breathtaking views make the effort worthwhile. Your guide will share interesting information about the local flora and fauna, including the elusive Shirui Lily. There will be designated rest stops along the way to catch your breath and soak in the scenery.
