  • One can reach Kamakhya Temple by taxi or auto-rickshaw from any part of Guwahati to Kamakhya Temple. The distance from Guwahati Bus Stand is 133 kilometres. They are readily available and the journey takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Public buses also ply from various parts of Guwahati to Kamakhya Temple. If you enjoy walking and the weather is suitable, you can also reach Kamakhya Temple on foot from certain parts of Guwahati. It's a bit of a hike up the Nilachal Hill, but it's doable for those who prefer walking.   • At the time of entry, all devotees shall produce the same original ID Proof used during booking./nKeep shoes in the designated areas.
