- You'll be picked up from a designated location in Shillong. The trail starts in Mawphlang, a 25-kilometer journey from Shillong. The full trek is 16 km and the half trek of approx 8 km. You can opt for either of the two options. Expect to encounter stunning scenery, including mountains, valleys, the Umiam River, waterfalls, and diverse flora and fauna. Upon completing the trek, you'll be dropped off to Sohra or Shillong.
- Difficulty Level: Moderately challenging. Be prepared for uneven terrain and potential climbs.
- Weather Conditions: The trail is best enjoyed during the dry season (October to May). Carry rain gear during monsoon months (June to September).
