How to reach:
  • Sohra is easily accessible by road from Shillong (55 km), the nearest city.
Itinerary:
  • Your first stop will be Kynrem falls (7th highest waterfall in India) situated in the Southeastern part of Sohra. Next, stop at Nohsngithiang falls, also known as Seven Sister falls. Then visit the Sohpung falls, a less visited falls, next visit Dainthlen falls, a legendary waterfall of the Khasi belief. Your next stop will be NohkaLikai falls, the tallest water plunge in India which also holds a significant tragic legend. Then visit Wahkaba falls, which also has a legendary story of its own. If time permits, visit Lyngksiar and Lyngngai falls .
