• Start your day early at Jowai, the nearest major town (approximately 24 km away).Upon arrival, visit and delve at the Shri Nartiang Durga temple- a 600 year old temple one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Then take a walk at the Nartiang monolith garden- a historical site just five minutes from the temple.. Learn about their creation and significance from a local guide. After that visit Sajar Nangli lake- a man-made lake which holds a historical importance. Your last visit will be Tyrchi falls- a majestic falls surrounded with paddy fields. After a fulfilling day, head back to Shillong or Jowai, carrying memories of your spiritual and historical exploration.

• Seek permission before photographing devotees engaged in prayer.
• Remove your shoes before entering the temple's inner sanctum.
• Do not climb or stand on the monoliths.
• The Nartiang Durga Temple is generally open from sunrise to sunset. However, it's advisable to confirm timings during specific festivals.
• While not mandatory, devotees can purchase puja offerings from vendors outside the temple.
