Itinerary:
  • Day 1 - Shillong- Nongstoin You will be picked by our representative from Shillong who will take you to Nongstoin town in a scenic drive around 2.5 hours. On arrival check in at your pre-booked stays and get ready for the day.
  • Day 2- Explore Chinma falls and Dumran falls After breakfast, be prepared for another scenic drive to Shallang village where Chinma falls is located, it took about 2 hours to reach. After spending time at the fall, move south to Langmar village where Dunmar falls is located, for about 2 hours. After spending time there move to Nongstoin (4 hours) for an overnight stay.
  • Day 3- Explore Weinia falls and Langshiang falls After breakfast, take another 40 minutes drive to Nongkhnum river island where you will be visiting Weinia falls and Langshiang falls located near to each other. After spending time there, drive to Shillong for your departure.

  • Meghalaya experiences heavy rainfall during the monsoon season (June to September), which enhances the beauty of waterfalls but can also lead to slippery trails and limited visibility.
  • Follow designated paths and avoid venturing too close to the edges of waterfalls. Rocks near waterfalls can be slippery, so wear appropriate footwear.
  • Some waterfalls require moderate hiking or walking to reach, so ensure you are physically prepared and have the necessary supplies.
