• Day 1: Depart from Gangtok early morning, taking the scenic route towards Kewzing (around 78 km, 3-4 hours). Keep your eyes peeled for birds along the way, with chances of spotting Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, Slaty-headed Parakeet, or even the elusive Himalayan Griffon. Upon reaching Kewzing, a charming village nestled amidst rolling hills, check into your pre-booked stay. After a refreshing lunch, embark on your first birding session in the afternoon, accompanied by a local birding guide. Explore the lower ridges of Kewzing village or the birding hotspot of Bakhim. Look out for the colorful Blood Pheasants, the shy Slaty-legged Crake, or the magnificent Mountain Hawk-Eagle.As the sun dips below the horizon, return to your homestay, sharing sightings and experiences with fellow birders over a delicious Sikkimese dinner.
• Day 2:Early morning birding session to witness birds at their most active Breakfast at the homestay and start a Full-day excursion to Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary to explore a wider range of bird species. Alternatively, explore nearby villages or engage in local activities like cooking demonstrations Farewell lunch and departure from Kewzing

• Carry comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking in uneven terrain.
• Pack binoculars, a camera with a good zoom lens, a field guide to Himalayan birds (optional), and sunscreen.
